Touring by bicycle
Traditionally, and because of its specific geographical configuration, Varese Province has always been particularly appreciated by cyclists. It isn't only sports cyclists who take to two wheels, but also ordinary people; the Province's many cycle paths provide an excellent opportunity to explore some of its most interesting, characteristic places.
Cycling Path
The province of Varese, a land with a keen cycling tradition, boasts over a hundred kilometres of cycle routes: a figure that speaks for itself, placing the Varesotto third among Italian provinces in terms of total length of cycling and walking routes.
Yet it is not just the many kilometres that make the province of Varese's paths interesting: it is the woods, lakes and rivers through and around which they run, as well as the valuable historic and artistic treasures scattered along them, making these routes one of a kind, blending sport, fun, nature and culture.
