Lugano - From 13.09.2018 to 23.09.2018

In 2018, Lugano is going to be the Swiss capital of food and wine: a remarkable local festival which will involve all the excellence of the Canton Ticino.

Starting from April, the city and its district will be the stage of several initiatives focused on food, culture, art, music, photography and much more besides. The event will culminate with the Week of Taste, that will take place from September 13th to September 23rd, a special occasion during which gourmets and gourmands could enjoy the Village of Taste.

Workshops and tastings, markets and show cooking sessions: every proposal and activity will highlight the importance of taste and good nutrition in their own culinary, cultural, didactic, tourism and sport related multiple facets.

The “polpetta” will be the emblem of the Festival, as the symbol of the struggle against the food waste and as an example of universal food.
